  • Wow, it's been a while!

    Poor, neglected personal blog. :(

    I've been working to get my etsy shop full, and promoting it

    (Put MRI in the notes to seller and get 15% off until Midnight, August 18!)

    And spiffing up my dance studio (the local paper did a story about my parent/toddler class!) and basically scrambling to attempt to dig us out of the financial hole that DD's seizures sort of dumped us into. It's going to be an uphill battle, and I may need to go get a job flipping burgers or something for a while, but we've got a roof over our heads, and each other. (Corny, but true.)

    If anyone happens to be a sci-fi fan, I have a hardcover copy of Ocatvia Butler's "Mind of My Mind" up on half.com for $36.00 (All the other places had the hardcover listed at at least 40 bucks!)

    DD made muffins all by herself today. Well, I put them in the oven and took them out, but all the measuring, stirring, etc. was all her. She was thrilled.
